Description of Camp
The High School Harp Solo and Ensemble Workshop is open to entering grades 9, 10, 11 or 12. The program is an exciting week of solo and ensemble experiences exploring classical traditions and improvisational styles. In addition, participants have the opportunity to attend special master classes on a variety of topics including selected orchestral audition excerpts, chamber music, harp maintenance, and career discussions. Delaine Fedson, UT Harp Senior Lecturer, conducts. Whatever the level of proficiency, all LMC campers find new challenges and opportunities and will advance in their ability. This camp culminates with a required student performance.
